:Perform general architectural works including review of interior architectural design, coordination between sub contractors and inspections and prepare related reports.Write construction specifications and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials. Selection of Suppliers and Sub Contractors and interface with suppliers and sub contractors as required.Coordinate work with engineering and construction unit at project site. Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.Provide technical guidance to all sub contractors working on the same project.Meeting with client and sub contractors to discuss their needs and preferences in detail, including any special considerations or concerns.
Working with Consultants and contractors to coordinate design details with construction plans.Prepare progress reports for clients on a regular basis throughout the duration of the project.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Understand the scope of work and develop a detailed project schedule and budget.Manage day-to-day operations of the project site, including on-site staff and subcontractors.
Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the clients satisfaction.Resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project.Attend job site meetings, as well as meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other professionals.Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project to ensure that all work meets the required standards.Reporting to Owner representative and following her guidance of everything related to project and executing any project assigned as per her instructions.Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by Architectural Designers and update according to the instructions of Client representative. Make new proposals and/or modify existing drawings when necessary. Ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards as well as client requirements. Provide a review of specifications when needed.Managing materials and labor costs to ensure that projects stay within budget guidelines.Review bids from subcontractors to ensure they are reasonable in price and scope of work offered.Review and approve all invoices related to the project.Requirements:- 10 years site experience in interior design execution and experience in high rise building, residential/luxury villas or hotels
- Experience in construction detailing and specification development
- Knowledge of construction management
- Qualification: Bachelors or Master degree in Architecture or Interior design
- Candidate must be living and working in Abu Dhabi
