Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Fit-Out CAD Draftsman located in Dubai. The Interior Fit-Out CAD Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts for interior design and fit-out projects. The role requires close collaboration with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure that designs meet project specifications and are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for interior fit-out projects
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to create layouts and technical documentation
• Prepare detailed drawings for furniture, joinery, and other interior elements based on project requirements
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client specifications, and industry standards in all drawings
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design intent
• Coordinate drawings with contractors and suppliers, ensuring smooth execution during the construction and installation phases
• Revise and update drawings as necessary during the project lifecycle
• Stay updated on the latest design and drafting trends, tools, and techniques relevant to the interior fit-out industry

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman, with specific experience in interior fit-out projects
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Previous experience working in a reputable company within the interior design or fit-out industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in other design tools like SketchUp or Revit being an advantage
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, detailing, and construction documentation
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for interior fit-out drafting and coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and contractors
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing technical drawings
