Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Interior Designer/Draftsman (Joinery & Fit-out)

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer/Draftsman to join our joinery and fit-out company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting the sales team with design development for design and build projects by preparing mood boards, presentations, material specification sheets, and 3D renders. Post project award, the candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive shop drawing packages for client approval, including furniture layouts, elevations, floor plans, RCP drawings, MEP drawings, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team in design development by creating mood boards, presentations, material specification sheets, and renders.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate design concepts into detailed drawings and documentation.
• Prepare full shop drawing packages post-award, including but not limited to furniture layouts, elevations, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), and MEP drawings for client approval.
• Ensure all designs and drawings adhere to UAE market standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate execution of designs and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Stay updated on new materials, production processes, and design trends relevant to the joinery and fit-out industry.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in interior design and drafting, particularly in joinery and fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design/drafting software.
• Knowledge of the UAE market standards, production processes, and materials.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow through from concept to completion.
