Floorworld Commercial is offering an exciting paid

internship opportunity

for a

fresh graduate in Interior Design

looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, design-driven environment. This role is ideal for a

creative, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn

individual with a passion for

commercial interiors, materials, and space planning

.

The internship provides

real-world exposure to design projects

, including

mood board creation, material selection, client presentations, and design studio support

. Successful interns may be considered for a

full-time junior designer role

upon completion of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Project Support

Assist in creating

mood boards, concept presentations, and design proposals

for commercial flooring projects. Support

sample selection and material sourcing

, ensuring an organized and efficient design studio. Participate in

site visits, client meetings, and project planning discussions

. Research

design trends, flooring materials, and innovative applications

. Assist in preparing

technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation

as needed.

Studio & Client Engagement

Maintain and organize the

design studio

, ensuring all materials, swatches, and samples are up to date. Support in organizing

Lunch & Learn sessions and design workshops

for clients and industry professionals. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create

visually compelling presentations

.

Social Media & Marketing Support (Optional)

Assist in

creating design-related content

for social media, including project showcases and behind-the-scenes insights. Capture and edit

photos/videos of materials, installations, and design trends

for digital platforms.

Qualifications & Skills:

Recent graduate

with a degree or diploma in

Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

. Basic knowledge of

AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or other design software

(training provided). Strong

eye for aesthetics, materials, and color coordination

. Excellent

organizational skills and attention to detail

. Willingness to

learn, adapt, and take on new challenges

. Passion for

commercial interiors and material selection

.
