Job Description

As a Interior Designer with more than 6 years of experience , you will directly report to Design Manager, your responsibility will be as per below job description, but not limited to:

Design Development:

• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand their requirements, objectives, and design preferences.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing spaces and gather relevant information for design development.
• Develop concept designs, mood boards, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Create detailed design plans, including space layouts, furniture arrangements, material selections, and lighting concepts.

Project Management:

• Lead the assigned design team in all aspects of project management, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure seamless coordination between design and execution phases.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, provide design guidance, and resolve any design-related issues.

Client Interaction:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and design revisions promptly and professionally.
• Conduct design presentations and meetings to communicate design concepts, gain client feedback, and secure approvals.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior design team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination and integration of design elements.
• Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving.

Industry Awareness:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, finishes, and technologies relevant to interior design.
• Attend design exhibitions, trade shows, and professional development workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on fit-out projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D modeling/rendering software, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Extensive knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and FF&E selection.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a design team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
