Job Description

Job Summary :
The Interior Designer at Reges Events plays a key role in designing and planning event and wedding decor.
Responsibilities include visiting venues before the event to take measurements and inspect details, drawing floor plans, and applying 3D designs.
The designer also oversees material and color selection and coordinates with different departments to ensure the design is implemented in line with the client's expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Venue Visits Before the Event :

• Familiarize with the venue and inspect the location.
• Take precise measurements of the space.
• Capture photos for design purposes.
• Note unmentioned details, such as bridal movement and entrances.

Coordinating with Venues and Obtaining Necessary Approvals :

• Request the CAD layout if available.
• Fill out the entry form and obtain required approvals.
• Coordinate with venues for security deposit payments, if necessary.

Drawing the Floor Plan :

• Draw the layout based on the measurements.
• Identify existing hanging points in the venue.
• Note observations from the site visit.
• Read contract details and customer notes, and distribute them correctly on the plan.

New Design Creation :

• Analyze the concept of the event.
• Develop creative ideas and apply them to the layout.
• Properly distribute elements on the floor plan.
• Create a 3D design visualization.
• Select suitable materials and colors.
• Render the design and present it to management for approval.
• Present the final design to the client.
• Prepare a presentation file to showcase the idea to the client.

Preparing the Job Order :

• Draw the final floor plan with all details.
• Draft details of the elements in the design.
• Prepare the final Job Order file to be directed to various departments.

Liaising with Other Departments :

• Follow up with the manufacturing department to ensure design implementation as planned.
• Coordinate with the storage department to ensure material availability.
• Communicate with the customer service and boutique departments as needed.

On-site Visit on Event Day :

• Be present at the event location on the day to evaluate the technical aspects of the event.

Adhering to Budget and Timelines :

• Stick to the allocated budget and deliver designs within the agreed timelines.

Professional Development :

• Stay updated on trends in interior design.
• Attend conferences and workshops to enhance technical and creative skills.

Requirements and Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in the events and wedding industry.
• Advanced skills in design software such as AutoCAD, 3D Max, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints and contracts.
• Strong analytical skills with a creative problem-solving approach.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients.
• Good knowledge of materials and products used in decor design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
