Key Responsibilities:
Design Development
Create and develop detailed interior design concepts, including layouts, material selections, furniture arrangements, lighting design, and color schemes.
Prepare and present design proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with their vision and project requirements.
Project Management
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of design concepts within budget and time constraints.
Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to schedules.
Client Liaison
Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their needs, provide regular project updates, and make design recommendations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design and implementation process.
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design documents for construction, including CAD, Revit, and other design software tools.
Prepare and review shop drawings, layouts, and plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Source and collaborate with vendors and suppliers for materials, furniture, finishes, and accessories.
Negotiate and manage procurement costs to meet project budgets.
Quality Control
Ensure all design and construction work meets company standards, client specifications, and applicable regulations.
Perform site visits to monitor progress, identify potential design issues, and resolve any discrepancies.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with other design team members, contractors, and engineers to ensure design integration across all disciplines.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
