We are looking for a talented and creative Interior Design Engineer to join our team at PSI in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and client requirements. As an Interior Design Engineer, you will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver exceptional design solutions that enhance the functionality and appearance of interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop interior design concepts and solutions based on client requirements and project goals. Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and material lists. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design solutions into the overall project plan. Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with the project's design aesthetic and budget. Ensure design solutions comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Oversee the implementation of design plans, ensuring the project is executed according to specifications. Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure design standards are being met. Prepare and present design proposals and mood boards to clients for approval. Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as an Interior Design Engineer, Interior Designer, or similar role in a professional setting. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and interior design principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture selection. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. UAE-based experience is a plus. Real Estate experience is a plus.
