We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the new technology architecture for a 12-month project with possibilities to extend further. Our client is building a target Enterprise Architecture with the support of multiple stakeholders and as a Technical Design Authority in this project, you will need to be the gatekeeper for the solution designs and manage all key stakeholders to ensure the project and design compliance. Responsibilities and Expected Delivery:
  • You will lead the Architecture Office, which includes representatives from all technical teams in the project.
  • Act as a trusted advisor both internally and externally, bridging the gap between business strategy and technology requirements.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the e2e robustness and interoperability of the solution to be delivered, assessing the impact of any changes in the architecture both technically and commercially.
  • Work closely with the customer to articulate business problems and translate them into an appropriate digital solution design.
  • Apply a vast knowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, vendor solutions, and emerging technology trends to define, refine and enhance the solution signed in the contract.
  • Generate high-quality artefacts such as architectural and capabilities roadmaps, requirements, high-level and detailed designs and deployment plans, ensuring systems are documented according to business and technical standards and relevant legislation/regulation implementation.
  • Provide the technical authority to validate the end-to-end large/complex/bespoke/multi-tower technical solution.
  • Be responsible for the e2e cost model of the complex multi-tower technical solution, identifying strategies to enhance the customer value delivered while minimising the cost of the solution design and implementation.
  • Develop compelling presentations and demos to showcase the value proposition both internally and externally.
  • Lead and mentor a team of architects, technical and partners/vendors specialists to define standards ensuring incorporating best practices and authoring of technical design specifications, solutions architecture designs, integration interface specifications, etc.
Professional background
  • Fluency in Arabic is highly desired for this role.
  • Previous experience working in the Public Sector, preferably in the UAE, is preferred.
  • The candidate should have 20+ years of experience.
Important information:
  • The customer is based in Abu Dhabi, and it is expected that the candidate will need to be onsite 60-80% of the time. If the candidate prefers to live outside of Abu Dhabi, commuting expenses will not be covered.
  • The minimum duration of the contract is 12 months, with a high probability of extending the engagement based on the delivery of the contract.
