Requirements

Specialization in Internal Medicine or Anesthesiology, and Critical Care Medicine from a recognized medical school.

Licenses: Valid medical license to practice as an Intensive Care Physician in the designated location. Must be in good standing with relevant licensing authorities.

Clinical Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-residency experience in Critical Care Medicine practice, including clinical rotations, fellowships, or equivalent training.

Critical Care Skills: Proficient in managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), including but not limited to mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor/inotropic support, sedation and analgesia, and renal replacement therapy.

Diagnostic Expertise: Skilled in interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies, such as arterial blood gases, chest X-rays, echocardiograms, and computed tomography (CT) scans.

Procedural Skills: Competent in performing critical care procedures, including central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, endotracheal intubation, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals.

Ethical and Professional Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in patient care, decision-making, and all aspects of medical practice.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, prioritizing patient safety, efficient workflow, and effective communication among team members.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate patient care within the ICU team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to junior physicians and other healthcare providers.
