Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Officer / Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 6 years of experience in the UAE and a solid understanding of various insurance policies, including but not limited to worker insurance, employee benefits, machinery insurance, and risk management solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Processing Insurance Policies : Handle the processing of various types of insurance, including basic worker insurance, enhanced coverage for staff and senior managers, and coverage for their dependents.
• Risk Management & Property Insurance : Manage insurance requirements related to workmen's compensation (Group Life), profit and loss insurance, and machinery insurance for consequential loss during factory shutdowns.
• Claims Management : Assist in the smooth processing and follow-up of claims, ensuring timely resolution and communication with insurance providers.
• Liaising with Insurance Providers : Negotiate with insurance companies to ensure that the organization is receiving the best coverage options for all areas of insurance, including group life, risk management, and property.
• Policy Review and Updates : Regularly review and update insurance policies to reflect any changes in the company's requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Reporting : Provide regular reports on insurance coverage, claims status, renewals, and other related matters to management.
• Employee Benefits Coordination : Support in managing employee health and life insurance programs, ensuring all employees and their dependents are adequately covered.

Requirements:

• UAE Experience : A minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in the UAE, specifically in insurance management and coordination.
• Strong Knowledge : In-depth understanding of worker insurance (basic and enhanced), employee benefits , workmen's compensation , profit and loss insurance , machinery insurance , and risk management insurance .
• Insurance Certifications : Relevant certifications in insurance or risk management will be considered a plus.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with insurance providers, management, and employees.
• Attention to Detail : High attention to detail, particularly when reviewing and processing insurance claims and policies.
