Job Title: Inspection Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third-Party Inspection Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, assessments, and audits in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) standards and ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and examinations of lifting equipment, machinery, and structures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other testing methods as required.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to verify compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding inspection procedures, equipment maintenance, and safety practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule inspections, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, equipment calibration, and certification documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection processes.
• Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to inspection practices and standards.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all aspects of work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical related field. (Mandatory)
• UAE Driving License. (Mandatory)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inspection engineering, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Certification from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) is required.
• Experience with Third Party Inspection Company is essential for atleast 1 year.
• Proficiency in conducting various inspection techniques and methods, including visual inspection, NDT (e.g., ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing), and load testing.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASME, BS, EN, and local authorities' requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not required.
