During your tenure as an Procurement Support - Associate in IT, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
Following and enforcing the company\'s procurement policies and procedures.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
Follow up on invoices with the vendors.
Track invoices received and payables with the internal finance teams.
Remain courteous and patient with end users
Work as part of a team to consistently achieve team targets

Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in business, finance or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience as a procurement support associate or in a similar position. The potential candidate should be self-motivated with an ability to survive in a progressive IT environment, along with understanding of new technologies from procurement perspectives.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
