Summary
Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant for Water applications with a domain expertise on cooling/boiler & wastewater treatment applications from designing water treatment programs based on the customer requirement. Wide range of experience over sea/fresh cooling water would be an advantage. You will be required to take a consultative sales approach, with a primary emphasis on strong account leadership skills and retention of strategic Nalco Water accounts & you must build long-term relationships with a large customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies.
Be a local technical water & wastewater applications expert with an in-depth knowledge for Heavy & Downstream Industry
Provide local support, problems solving, and solution development for petrochemical and refinery applications.
Provide onsite audit support for pre-bid technical qualification, including laboratory testing & qualification if needed, and technical product recommendation.
Understand and promote best practices through training and implementation.
Draft and deliver training initiatives for staff and customers.
Develop senior-level relationships with customer technical teams and experts.
Provide local, on-site support and training for new technology.
Assist in development and execution of field trials.
Ability to make the customer understand the value of our programs and have the ability to actively promote this value to the customer and within the organization.
Participate in industry trade associations through presentation of papers or other activities.
Contributes knowledge of industry technical and market trends
Lead multifunctional project teams with high visibility in the organization.
Be a team player & work along different functions to make sure we are able to deliver.
Position Details
Candidate must reside in: Qatar
Territory will include: IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa)
30-40% overnight travel required to support sales territory.
Preferred Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/BSc/MSc in Chemical/Chemistry/Water Chemistry/Water Management
12+ years of successful technical sales, industrial consultancy, field sales support experience troubleshooting & in-depth understanding on product application & chemistry on water treatment within Heavy, Mid & Downstream segment.
