Lear's Industry 4.0 Strategy

As a global technology leader of automotive Seating and Electrical components operating across over 250 facilities within 37 countries around the world, Lear Corporation is at the forefront of various aspects of technological evolution. Industry 4.0 within Lear Corporation is underpinned through the integration of intelligent digital technologies and analytical systems into manufacturing and industrial processes. Lear Corporation's industry 4.0 strategy is primarily divided into 2 key operating functions. Firstly, the successful project management and execution of industry 4.0 initiatives into our manufacturing operations. Secondly, the digital analysis and data gleaned from visual management systems ensuring Lear takes informed decisions across its wider business maximizing our operational efficiency whilst upholding the highest quality standards ensuring that Lear's operational and financial objectives can be achieved.

Position overview:

Our future Work Stream Leader will Lead the execution of the projects for data-focused, digitalization solutions using Lear's data analytics and application platform within EMEA Seating, as part of the EMEA Seating Industry 4.0 strategy. This includes macro-level project management, management of the deployment team (including coaching and mentoring), reporting out to Senior Management, communication with Vendors, confirmation of Business cases with the Plant/Business/Functional teams, feedback of lessons learned, and opportunities to refine the standard solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the EU&AF AME team, manage the development, deployment, and roll-out of local and regional data solutions and applications, either directly, through team members, or through the Plant Teams, with a primary focus on maximizing standardization and benefit to Lear.

Team Development: Coach the AME team in best practices and defined standards. Identify A players from the plants and external for development potential into Equipment team roles. Support the definition of Skills required within the Data Team.

For project execution, manage directly and indirectly to: Ensure that there is a clear business case or operational/ functional need for each project. Ensure all Lear Data Standards are adhered to, or signed deviation is issued Project timing is adhered to and team members/stakeholders are managed proactively. Tracking of all project savings and reporting to Executive sponsors, Senior Leaders, and the Corporate Data team. Flawless deployment and zero Customer impact

Specific targets are to improve: Improvement in Data Analytics KPIs with EMEA Seating Employee understanding of Digitalization, Industry 4.0, and Lear's Strategy to adopt these technologies Employee Engagement

Manage Strategic digitalization roadmap: Work closely with Senior Data leadership and central functions to define Digitalization Roadmap to support the business Long Range Plan. Support the creation of Data section within AME Playbook, aligned to Corporate Data direction.

Develop Standards: Working closely with the rest of the Data Team, lead the creation of Project Management standards to be applied to all Digitalization Projects. Support the development of Data Standards by ensuring robust feedback from lessons learned during project execution. Regular review of developing Digitalization tools and technologies to identify opportunities to develop and pilot.

In addition to these tasks, other projects and responsibilities may be individually defined specific requirement.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure a safe working environment, follow, support, and maintain working practices, and comply with all relevant HSE legislation and local policies and procedures. Ensure peers and members in the department comply with HSE policies and procedures Carry out on-site coaching in the event of observing any situation that contravenes any safety rule, legislation or Best practice.

Key skills and Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Engineering, IT, Business Analysis Qualification. Experience in project management and can demonstrate project deliveries. Strong problem-solving skills. Accomplished in developing cross-functional business relationships. Previous experience in Managing a technical Team. Experience in managing team remotely. Technical knowledge in coding. Structured approach to management Fully self-motivated Exceptional communicator Proficiency in English language, spoken and written
