Industrial Electrician
Job Description
• Diploma in Electrical engineering with minimum two years experience / High school or Trade certificate with 4 years' experience.
• Should be able to speak and understand Hindi or Urdu or English.
• Assists and participate in the maintenance of 400kV and 132kV substation equipment.
• Should be experienced in working on 400kV, 132kV Gas insulated switchgears, LVAC systems, Power Transformers and FPS systems.
• General Information about MCB's, Contactor's, Limit Switch, Timers. Low Voltage AC/DC voltage used in substation for controls & building lighting.
Switchgear
Shall have experience in handling 400 & 132kV switchgear maintenance activities.
• Able to use basic instrument Multimeter (For measuring AC/DC Voltages /Continuity/Resistance/Insulation Resistance), Clamp Meter-Current measurement, Insulation Resistance measurement (MEGGER 0-5kV)
• Familiar with switchgear components.
• Condition Monitoring like ( SF6 Gas readings, Thermal Imaging)
• Able to read Single Line Diagrams & Mimic Diagram.
Transformer
• Identify components on transformer.
• Visual inspection check points.
• Oil Sampling, Thermal Imaging, Silica Gel Condition Inspection & Replacement.
