Chemist wanted for a Precious Metal Recycling Plant in Ajman

Candidates with experience in the same field is prefered.

1. Core Technical Skills :

• Chemical Knowledge : Strong understanding of inorganic, organic, physical, and analytical chemistry.
• Laboratory Techniques : Proficiency in titration, chromatography (HPLC, GC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR, NMR), and other analytical methods.
• Instrument Handling : Experience with lab equipment like spectrophotometers, pH meters, centrifuges, etc.
• Data Analysis : Ability to analyze, interpret, and document experimental results accurately.

2. Industry-Specific Knowledge :

• Regulations and Standards : Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), ISO standards, or FDA guidelines.
• Formulation and Synthesis : Expertise in creating and testing chemical compounds for specific applications (e.g., drugs, polymers, or industrial chemicals).
• Quality Control (QC) : Testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for quality assurance.
• Environmental Compliance : Knowledge of hazardous material handling and environmental regulations.

3. Soft Skills :

• Attention to Detail : Precision in experiments and documentation.
• Problem-Solving : Analytical thinking to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
• Communication : Ability to present findings, write detailed reports, and collaborate with teams.
• Time Management : Managing multiple experiments and deadlines effectively.

4. Educational and Technical Requirements :

• Degree : A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering (master's or Ph.D. for research roles).
• Computer Proficiency : Knowledge of scientific software (e.g., ChemDraw, MATLAB, or statistical analysis tools) and basic programming (optional but beneficial).
• Safety Training : Familiarity with lab safety protocols and handling hazardous chemicals (MSDS knowledge).

5. Additional Skills (Optional but Valuable) :

• Project Management : Experience in leading or coordinating research projects.
• Interdisciplinary Knowledge : Understanding of biology, physics, or materials science depending on the industry.
• Language Skills : For global roles, knowledge of additional languages may be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
