Indirect Tax Manager
Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Tax Manager to lead our UAE Tax Department. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will oversee tax compliance and advisory services, with a focus on indirect taxation (UAE and GCC VAT). This role requires strong leadership, client management, and a strategic mindset to drive the growth of our tax practice.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor the tax team to achieve departmental goals.
• Manage client relationships and provide expert tax advisory services.
• Stay updated on tax laws and ensure compliance for clients.
• Review complex tax returns and provide feedback to the team.
• Plan and manage budgets, staffing, and engagement profitability.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the tax practice.
• Support team development through training and supervision.
• Be flexible for occasional travel within the UAE and GCC.
Requirements:
• Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: 8-10 years overall, with 4-5 years in taxation (preferably with a consulting firm).
Skills:
Strong leadership and client management abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
