  • Follows all relevant VAT department\'s policies, processes, standards, operating procedures and instructions so that the work is carried out in a disciplined and consistent manner.
  • It follows the day-to-day processes associated with its own work to ensure business continuity.
  • Participates in the preparation of accounting transactions for VAT-related revenues and continuously updates the general ledger to ensure the follow-up development of the system used in VAT follow-up in line with the objectives set and management directives.
  • Follow up the central mail for VAT and ensure that all inquiries related to VAT are answered and follow up on the tax data sent by the authorities
  • Participates in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports related to VAT revenues, income and others for their references and correction of differences discovered before they are distributed to the concerned authorities.
  • Participates in the preparation and review of VAT return records and related filings by preparing and submitting comprehensive reports on VAT returns from sales, international trade and others to ensure that various sectors and entities follow up on compliance with VAT laws and regulations.
  • Contributes to the collection of tax information and data necessary to complete tax reports for the required VAT tables and statistics in a timely manner.
  • Participates in closing the accounting records for VAT at the end of the year in coordination with other sectors and concerned authorities to ensure that all the requirements of the year-end tax return are met and to ensure that they are reported and complied with by the concerned authorities.
  • Ensure that the accounting procedures approved by the Department are followed when dealing with VAT revenue records to ensure that sound accounting results are reached and that they are accurate.
  • Coordinates and communicates with the concerned sectors and departments to contribute to identifying and measuring the impact of VAT on the financial policies, strategies and statistics of the Financial Department.
  • Prepare responses to financial reports and tax returns related to VAT revenues required by the concerned authorities as directed to ensure their accuracy and ensure that they meet the principles and standards approved by the Financial Department.
  • Participates in the preparation and review of notices, financial documents and tax returns for VAT revenues to ensure the accuracy of monthly adjustments and reconciliations of tax accounts and returns in accordance with the approved financial regulations and regulations.
  • Provides feedback and inquiries related to VAT compliance from all sectors and different entities to ensure clarification of policies and procedures followed and contribute to facilitating the tax collection process.
  • Understands the principles and culture of institutional excellence, through the application of functional tasks compared to models and standards of excellence, prepares documents related to internal and external awards, participates in the preparation of statistics and questionnaires necessary for the results and analysis of VAT reports submitted in order to propose improvements and work on the implementation of initiatives that meet the conditions and standards of the Institutional Excellence Award.
