IMS SPECIALIST
Preferred Immediate Joiners & Available for Face to Face interview in Abu Dhabi.
Duties and Responsibilities Main Job Role:
• Support the organisation through provision and maintenance of excellent HSEQ services to develop, implement, get third party certification and maintain an Integrated Management System (IMS) for Louvre Abu Dhabi based on international management system standards, b) to promote continuous improvement in IMS working standards and practices supported through education, training and coaching across the organisation.
Managerial Role:
• Assist the organization in defining the metrics for the measurement of the success of the organization-wide IMS, analyse data collected to determine the success of initiatives, and use recommendations to ensure the design and implementation of future initiatives that meet policy goals and objectives and prepares reports on overall IMS performance.
• Ensure that the performance of various tasks and the conduct of the staff in Louvre Abu Dhabi with regard to IMS are in accordance to the Louvre Abu Dhabi Quality (IMS) Policies and Procedures.
• Helps in the development and management of the Health and Safety Unit budget for input into the operational budget concerning IMS.
Organisational Role:
• Working with the Health and Safety Unit Head, contribute to the implementation of the medium and long term strategic plans as regards IMS in line with the Louvre Abu Dhabi's vision, mission and strategic goals ? Identifies the technology needs that ensure the IMS processes are enforced efficiently as well as effectively
• Establish plans related to IMS with budgeting, feasibility, staffing and time constraints ensuring the availability of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the LAD IMS needs
• Assists in managing contracted H&S team involved in implementation of LAD IMS Functional Role:
• Develop framework for LAD integrated management system (IMS) through development of LAD IMS policy, manual, procedures and processes with the relevant forms.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the IMS framework, get it certified from accredited third party and establish a regime for maintaining the management system.
• Ensure communication and understanding of IMS policy and objectives at all levels of LAD.
• Provide support and facilitate achievement of IMS initiatives of LAD.
• Schedule, monitor and follow up of all IMS internal audits and supplier audits.
• Identify, analyze and monitor all processes required as per the IMS.
• Ensure compliance with IMS procedures and work instructions at all levels of the organization.
• Report the performance and status of IMS system as and when required.
• Provide expert advice to departments on all aspects of the IMS as and when required.
• Provide support in organizing IMS meetings, preparing plan, agenda and minutes and supervise day-to-day operation of integrated management system as required by the system.
• Liaise with HSEC and other departmental representatives on IMS.
• Ensure continuous improvement of IMS by corrective action reports, preventive actions and management review.
• Establish and control the required document and data control systems.
• Ensure accurate distribution of all documents related to integrated management system.
• Carryout customer satisfaction surveys. Register and follow-up on Customer complaints.
• Design and provide information reports for Management as required.
• Ensure continuous increase in the level of integration of management systems for effectiveness.
• Required Knowledge and Skills
• 08-10 years of overall experience in FM industry similar or large projects, airports, hospitals and large malls in roles related to IMS. Museum experience is highly preferred
• Minimum 05 years IMS experience in a managerial role
• Expert level of knowledge and experience in the following;
• Development, implementation, third party certification and maintenance of IMS
• Compliance management and continuous improvement
• IMS processes and best practices
• International standards related to occupational health, safety, environment and quality (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
• Knowledge and experience of Quality Management tools, practices and techniques
• Bearing competent skills in the following
• Leadership, can take charge and lead by example motivating others
• Good organizing & planning skills ? Attention to detail ? Excellent communication verbal/written with all levels of employees, including presentation skills
• Excellent problem solving & decision making
• Enabling change
• Being creative and bringing out creativity in others.
• Fluency in English and Arabic. French language competency preferred.
• Museum specificities and functioning (preferable)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering, any discipline (Electrcial, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, etc.) or Masters Degree in Quality Management
NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications preferred
IMS Lead Auditor qualifications, training and experience (ISO 45001/14001/9001)
Afiliation with any internal Quality and/or HSE organisation preferred
