Our client, a leading scientific equipment supplier entity seeks to hire an Import Export Specialist with expertise in handling Letter of Credit (LC) documentation to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in import-export operations, with a strong understanding of international trade regulations and LC procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end import-export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and logistics.
Handle LC transactions, including the preparation, review, and submission of LC documents in compliance with banking and international trade regulations.
Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment of goods.
Verify and ensure accuracy of shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and other required documentation.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to LC documents and shipments.
Stay updated on changes in import-export regulations, trade policies, and LC procedures.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding import-export processes and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to import-export transactions.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
Bachelor\'s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in import-export operations, preferably in a similar role in Dubai or the UAE.
Expertise in handling Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and transactions is essential.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and INCO terms.
