Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Import & Export Operations

Handle import/export shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs authorities. Ensure compliance with UAE customs, international trade laws, and product safety regulations. Track shipments, manage delays, and troubleshoot any logistics issues.

2. Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and verify trade documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and import/export permits. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, including Dubai Customs, UAE Ministry of Economy, and other relevant authorities. Work on trade licensing, duty exemptions, and certifications for baby products. Maintain accurate records of all shipments and customs clearances.

3. Supplier & Customer Coordination

Liaise with global suppliers and manufacturers to ensure seamless procurement and delivery. Coordinate with local distributors and retailers to manage inventory flow. Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics partners.

4. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

Work closely with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and avoid shortages. Ensure smooth transit of goods from ports to warehouses and retailers.

5. Cost Optimization & Reporting

Monitor and optimize logistics costs to improve profitability. Prepare reports on shipment status, trade compliance, and logistics performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities in freight, customs, and warehouse operations.

Key Requirements: Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in baby products, FMCG, or retail.
