The incumbent will contribute to development of products & portfolio for Industrial Minerals for Clariant Mining Solutions.
Responsibilities
• Developing and validating procedures, conducting tests on a microscale, analyzing data, preparing technical reports, performing physicochemical analyses, and studying substances to determine reactions and transformations.
• Contributing to product development, offering technical assistance to clients during solution implementation, addressing inquiries and making adjustments, and preparing samples for customers
• Aligning with occupational safety, and environmental standards (ESHA), and ensuring strict compliance with quality standards to maintain product reliability and safety.
• Training operational application teams and laboratory staff, as well as participating in training sessions for technical and sales teams regarding product use and application to disseminate knowledge effectively.
• Maintaining and updating procedures, participating in improvement projects, and completing tasks assigned by superiors to enhance professional development
Requirements
• Advanced degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (minimum Postgraduate level).
• 8 to 10 years of experience in the industrial chemistry sector, ideally with a focus on chemicals for the mining industry.
Proficiency in English is essential.
