To provide and manage the IES PL support throughout the area of influence, acting as the IES focal point for the clients and all the other product lines requiring support regarding subsurface domains. This role is expected to support IES Geozone Manager in the country with a considerable market size that require dedicated local support to assist in business growth, increase collaboration among product lines and pull-through of additional revenue from the subsurface evaluation perspective. The candidate requires a strong management background in subsurface evaluation domains, business acumen and strong softs skills.

QUALITY Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement OPERATIONS Supervise timely and accurate IES processing, interpretation and evaluation involving all the subsurface evaluation domains across the different product lines of relevance in the location. Define strategy in location to achieve IES performance metrics (financial, operational, safety, quality) as established by management. Responsible for direct management of IES personnel in the area/country of influence including time-management, career progression, performance reviews, compensation reviews, and any other operational or HR-related duties. Active interaction and coordination with customers as well as support to WFRD sales teams to maintain and develop further business for WFRD various segments from the subsurface expertise. Building and maintaining pipeline of opportunities for IES cross product line collaboration solutions including financial and operational impact. Definition of innovative workflows relevant to the location that include subsurface domains to provide integrated technical solutions to our clients. Building and delivering of detailed reports to management. Coordinate an active role of IES in relevant technical societies (SPE, SPWLA, etc) according to business priorities. Assist operations teams across product lines on post-mortem root-cause analysis on operations related to the subsurface evaluation domains. Know and understand Weatherford's Operational Excellence & Performance System (OEPS) and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. All other IES activities/duties as indicated by the IES Geozone manager and Country/Area director.
COMMUNICATION IES manager should excel in their soft skills maintaining effective communication with all key stakeholders internally and externally. This role requires interaction with different groups at all levels inside and outside the organization. Create and maintain successful communication lines between all parties (client, segments, third parties, etc). Clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their employees, as well as communicate and discuss with managers highlights/lowlights, opportunities, challenges and grievances. Developing strong relationships with current and potential clients (internal or external) Ability to adjust technical conversations to different levels according to the target audience.
FINANCIAL IES manager is responsible to closely monitor finances of the IES group in their location according to management requirements and provide reports accordingly. Some IES managers might own a P&L. Identify challenges and/or opportunities for financial improvement and discuss them with the relevant parties Create and defend business cases to justify additional resources required. All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure

VISION & LEADERSHIP Demonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times As IES manager, the role requires a strategic approach to IES operations in the location of influence continuously looking for opportunities to increase the IES business according to the relevant business goals IES manager is expected to formulate, execute and evaluate strategies to drive multi-product line integration through the subsurface evaluation domains. Coaching and training of junior employees at the location, Geozone and Global level. Qualifications
Extensive management experience with a background in either Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering, Petrophysics/Geoscience/ BSc in Engineering or Geoscience in an accredit university Detailed knowledge on customer's main objectives in subsurface characterization and their relevance to WFRD business General knowledge on the different WFRD segments and their relevance to the IES domains to identify opportunities for integrated solutions and to design collaboration plan Financial understanding of key metrics for project evaluation Fluent English both written and verbal Ability and willingness to develop business acumen skills through internal and external courses, and practical on the job training. Ideally will be currently based in Kuwait
Preferred Proven record on conception and execution of collaboration projects. Experience in multiple segments or functions relevant to subsurface evaluation domains. Experience in previous roles with financial accountability. Experience in training, competency and development of peers and junior employees. Previous experience in management of Geoscience domains Post graduate studies related to Geoscience domains and/or business administration Project Management Certificate
