Role Purpose:


Drive the generation and development of innovative business and technology ventures by leading comprehensive research initiatives and orchestrating strategic workshops. The Ideate Program Lead will synthesize complex information, foster creative thinking, and guide cross-functional teams to identify and validate high-potential ideas poised to become multi-million-dollar ventures. This role is pivotal in transforming visionary concepts into actionable business strategies through an entrepreneurial mindset and meticulous organizational skills.

Accountabilities & Activities

• Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitive research to uncover emerging trends and opportunities.
• Synthesize complex data into actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop and test hypotheses to validate the viability and potential impact of new venture ideas.

Workshop Facilitation:

• Design and lead business and technology-focused workshops aimed at ideation and strategic planning.
• Utilize advanced frameworks and methodologies to guide participants through structured brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
• Foster an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Idea Development:

• Identify and evaluate high-potential ideas with the capacity to scale into successful ventures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance ideas, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
• Develop comprehensive business cases and strategic plans to support the advancement of selected ideas.

Entrepreneurial Leadership:

• Apply an entrepreneurial mindset to drive innovation and take calculated risks in pursuit of transformative ideas.
• Mentor and inspire team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to enhance program effectiveness and relevance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, partners, and industry experts.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates effectively to diverse audiences.
• Advocate for innovative initiatives and secure buy-in from key decision-makers.

Thought Leadership:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven track record of leading successful innovation initiatives and driving product development.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years previous experience in Digital Transformation, Product Development, Innovation or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. An MBA degree is a plus.
• Outstanding records of academic or professional achievement.
