PURPOSE OF THE JOB:The purpose of the Interior Design BIM Modeler role is to leverage BIM technology to transform interior design concepts into detailed, coordinated, and efficient digital models that support the entire lifecycle of AEC projects, from initial design through construction to facility management. This role bridges the gap between design creativity and technical execution, ultimately contributing to successful project outcomes.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed BIM models for interior design projects using Autodesk Revit or other BIM software as required.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and interior designers to integrate design concepts and technical requirements into BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models comply with industry standards, project specifications, and local regulations in the GCC region.
• Generate and manage BIM content, including families, templates, and libraries specific to interior design.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution within BIM models to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare and contribute to project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports derived from BIM models.
• Assist in the coordination of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems with interior design elements.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance project efficiency and quality.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in interior design BIM modeling, preferably within the GCC region.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software such as Navisworks, AutoCAD Architecture, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, and finishes.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and LEED certification is a plus.
