We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Ice Cream and Waffle/Crepe Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality desserts, including handcrafted ice cream, waffles, and crepes, while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves ensuring cleanliness, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a delightful dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Dessert Preparation:

• Prepare and serve waffles, crepes, and ice cream according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Decorate and present desserts attractively, ensuring consistency in quality and appearance.
• Experiment with new recipes and flavors to enhance the menu.

2. Equipment Operation:

• Operate waffle irons, crepe machines, and ice cream equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and clean kitchen tools, machines, and equipment regularly.

3. Customer Service:

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take orders and customize desserts based on customer requests.
• Offer recommendations and promote special menu items.

4. Hygiene and Safety:

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including preparation counters and serving stations.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.

5. Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, and notify management of replenishment needs.
• Minimize waste by using ingredients efficiently.

6. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with training new staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in dessert preparation, particularly with waffles, crepes, or ice cream, is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Creativity in food presentation and willingness to innovate.
