Responsibilities:
Conduct Online Tutoring Sessions: Deliver engaging and interactive online tutoring sessions to IB students, focusing on subjects such as IB Chemistry, IB Physics, IB Biology, and other relevant subjects as per your expertise.
Customize Learning Plans: Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to create personalized learning plans that address their specific needs and academic goals.
Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to excel academically and develop a passion for the subjects.
Provide Feedback and Progress Reports: Regularly assess student performance, track progress, and offer constructive feedback to help them improve their understanding and performance.
Stay Updated on IB Curriculum: Keep abreast of the latest developments and changes in the IB curriculum to ensure the delivery of relevant and up-to-date educational content.
Time Management: Be punctual and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate students from different time zones.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Possess a strong academic background in relevant subjects with a Bachelor's degree or higher. An educational qualification related to IB education will be an advantage.
IB Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching or tutoring students in the IB Middle Year Programme or IB Diploma Programme.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Technically Proficient: Comfortable with online teaching platforms, video conferencing, and other relevant online tools.
Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for education and a strong desire to help students succeed.
Reliability and Professionalism: Dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a professional tutoring relationship with students.
Time Commitment: Willingness to commit to a part-time schedule, with the possibility of flexible hours based on student availability.
