Job Description

We are seeking a Hygiene Assistant cum Housekeeping to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene are maintained throughout the salon. This combined role requires the individual to handle both sanitation duties and general housekeeping tasks. The Hygiene Assistant cum Housekeeper will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for both clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Hygiene and Sanitation:

Sanitize and disinfect all salon tools, equipment, and treatment areas after each client visit. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces like door handles, chairs, countertops, and restrooms frequently. Replenish sanitizing stations with hand sanitizers, tissues, gloves, and masks as needed. Adhere to salon health and safety protocols to maintain the highest level of hygiene. Store and sanitize tools (e.g., scissors, combs, brushes, nail tools) after each use, ensuring they are ready for the next client. Assist in sterilizing equipment using UV sterilizers, autoclaves, or other applicable methods. Monitor hygiene compliance and report any issues or violations to the salon manager.
Housekeeping Duties:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon workstations, waiting areas, treatment rooms, and restrooms throughout the day. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as part of routine cleaning to ensure the salon is spotless. Wash, dry, fold, and store salon towels, linens, and robes, ensuring a consistent supply for staff. Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of the laundry room and linen storage. Dispose of waste properly, ensuring bins are emptied and sanitized regularly. Restock cleaning supplies, sanitizers, and bathroom amenities as needed to ensure smooth salon operations. Support in setting up and preparing treatment rooms for new clients. Ensure that all areas, including retail sections and the front desk, are cleaned and well-organized.
