Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is hiring a Hybrid Field Application Scientist / Field Service Engineer in Morocco. Responsibilities

Provide exceptional technical support and service for our advanced scientific equipment. Collaborate with customers to successfully implement and optimize their use of our products. Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment with exceptional attention to detail. Deliver training and application support to customers, helping them achieve flawless operation of their instruments. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Work closely with sales and engineering teams to determine and address customer needs. Maintain detailed records of service activities and customer interactions.

Requirements

MSc or Higher in a Molecular Biology field or equivalent. Proven experience with qPCR, Sanger Sequencers, Next Generation Sequencing instrumentation (preferably Ion Torrent), or Microarray instruments. Strong scientific knowledge in the fields of Genetics/Microbiology/Infectious and inherited disease. Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach. Effective time management and ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining operational metrics. Fluency in English and French; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Driven and motivated with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Willingness to travel frequently within Morocco, North-West Africa and internationally up 50% of the time. Valid drivers licence
