Hv/ehv Substation Protection Design Engineer
Job Description
Have minimum of 10 years experience in Substation Protection and Secondary Design Engineering including but not limited to:
1. Preparing S/S Protection single line diagram.
2. Preparing Protection schemes and logic diagram
3. checking all protective devices and ensure full protection coordination.
4. Preparing CTs / VTs adequacy calculations matching with protection requirements.
5. Preparing control cable schedules for all protection components.
6. Awareness of all major equipment protections schemes and requirements.
7. Support site testing and commissioning activities.
8. calculation and sizing of S/Ss secondary auxiliary DC system.
9. Awareness of related electrical international standards (I.e. IEC and ANSI).
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
• HV/EHV Substation Protection Design: 10 years (Preferred)
Location:
• Abu Dhabi (Preferred)
