Job Description

What you will do:

HVAC System Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration units.

Replace or clean air filters, check for leaks, lubricate moving parts, and ensure proper refrigerant levels in HVAC systems.

Maintain and repair heating and cooling systems in guest rooms, meeting rooms, common areas, kitchens, and back-of-house operations.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems, including temperature control problems, airflow issues, and equipment failures.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures in HVAC systems and repair or replace malfunctioning components, such as thermostats, compressors, coils, and fans.

Respond promptly to HVAC-related maintenance requests from other departments and guests, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.

Installation of HVAC Equipment:

Install, upgrade, or replace HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, heating systems, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.

Ensure new installations comply with local codes, industry standards, and hotel specifications.

Coordinate the installation of new systems or equipment with other departments during renovations or upgrades.

Temperature Control and Comfort:

Ensure that HVAC systems provide optimal comfort in guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.

Monitor and adjust temperature settings, humidity levels, and air quality to maintain a comfortable environment for guests.

Address temperature complaints from guests and troubleshoot any related issues.

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability:

Assist in implementing energy-saving initiatives to improve the efficiency of HVAC systems and reduce energy consumption.

Ensure that HVAC systems operate within optimal energy usage levels while maintaining guest comfort.

Provide recommendations for upgrading or replacing outdated systems with more energy-efficient models.

Required Qualification:

Minimum 6 months to one year of experience
