Job Description

HVAC Technician:

Responsibilities:

1- Perform and carry out duties as instructed

2- Carry out the installations such as, HVAC/Electrical/Piping works

3- Integrate and communicate effectively with other technical staff as required.

4- Participate in shift work and/or out of hours working as governed by the necessity to maintain continuity of project

5- Participate in emergency on-call service during non-working hours, weekends and public holidays.

6- Carry out project activities as directed by the Supervisor and adhere to Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.

7- Conform to all necessary internal and/or external approvals before, during and after project work including Permit to Work and Lockout / Tag Out procedures.

8- Maintain up to date knowledge through technical training provided by the Supervisor for the safe and efficient project execution and duties.

9- Ensure EHS throughout the project

10- Carry out all other duties as directed by the Project Supervisor and Project Engineer

11- Able to do Multi-tasking

12- Able to read HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical drawings

13- Able to take accurate dimensions and use of measuring instruments

Degree/Technical Skills:

1- DAE/ITI in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

2- Able to read, write and speak English

Required Experience:

1- 2 to 3 years of GGC experience
