Main Scope

Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC equipment and. Involved in completing all the responsibilities that are associated with the relevant jobs, ensuring that the technical site teams are mentored in the right direction, and that the assigned technical work is being completed accurately. Balance on the level of technical knowledge, understanding and to respond to clients' queries.

Perform technical work supervising and scheduling the, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment's.

Education Level

ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Refrigeration AND 10 - 15 years of relevant experience.

Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities

• Build customer relationship in a professional manner through solution-oriented communications and service, providing both on-site and telephone
• Installation expertise at customer sites as well as conducting pre-installation assistance.
• Read and review MEP drawings, plans, specifications and other documentation to prepare for project start-up and handing over.
• Provide written expense reports to Director/Service Manager for all activities carried out on site and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Supervise & Manage Subcontractors during project execution
• Visit Project sites on a consistent basis to measure progress and report.
• Make technical recommendations to maintenance and service department related to Energy projects
• Technical evaluations of vendor's proposal/ selection sheets.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times. Develop and maintain safe habits and practices with regard to safety requirements on site and in the manufacturing facility and report any breaches or concerns on health and safety matters to the Director/Manager after sales.
• Must be self-motivated with ability to work & think well independently
• Inform Operations Engineer of completed and outstanding work orders.
• Determine time and cost estimates for HVAC jobs.
• Develop pricing schedules and rates
• Prepare budgets
• Control expenses and monitor budgets
• Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
• Liaise with sub-contractors for project execution & handles the responsibility.
• Conduct site inspection & propose best solution for Energy/ Replacement projects

Knowledge

• A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in repairing and maintaining of HVAC equipment's; comprehensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work; ability to prepare estimates and order materials for maintenance and repair jobs; ability to exercise independent judgment in determining operating conditions; ability to plan, lay out, supervise and inspect the work of subordinates; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.

Skills & Experience

• Good working Experience on all equipment and controls. Minimum 10-15 year experience with 5-10 year in GCC.
• Proficiency in English. Arabic, Hindi/Urdu will be an added advantage.
