Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Engineer that has experience in MEP
Design to work closely with Company PMO on the Company HQ project. The primary role will
be to review MEP designs prepared by the MEP consultant and ensure that there are no
mistakes or oversights during the construction phase. They will also assist in reviewing the ID
drawings and design created by the design consultant to ensure full coordination between
design and MEP. This position is critical to maintaining the integrity and functionality of
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the project lifecycle.

- Design Review: Thoroughly review MEP designs submitted by the MEP consultant to
ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory
requirements.

- Design Coordination: Insure full coordination between the ID drawings and the MEP
design.

- Quality Assurance: Identify potential issues or conflicts within the designs that could lead
to problems during construction, or after project Handover. Provide feedback and
recommendations to correct any errors or omissions.

- Compliance: Ensure that all MEP systems comply with local building codes, safety
regulations, and best practices.

- Problem-Solving: Provide proactive solutions to any discrepancies between the design
and the construction work on-site. Provide solutions that can add value engineering to
the project.

- Construction Oversight: Monitor the construction process to ensure that MEP
installations adhere to the approved designs and specifications. Address any issues that
arise promptly and effectively.

- Project Coordination: Liaise between MEP consultants, ID Consultants, construction
teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any
design-related challenges.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of design reviews, decisions made, and any
modifications required during the construction phase.

- Client Reporting: Regularly updating management on the progress of design reviews, potential risks, and the status of the MEP systems during construction.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of Five years of experience in MEP design review, with a strong background in quality assurance and construction oversight.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and specifications. Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in reviewing designs and ensuring quality.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate design issues and solutions to various stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate potential issues and provide effective solutions during both the design and construction phases.

- Teamwork: Team player with collaborative approach to working with consultants, construction teams, and clients
