Manage the logistics within the area ensuring the maintenance is carried out to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Roles and Responsibilities1. Strategy
Establish an effective organization through the designing and implementing of a fit for purpose structure, adequate manpower, develop and implement systems to motivate manpower through training programs, incentives and recognition schemes for outstanding performance.
2. Management
Develop, guide, direct, motivate and manage the performance of all direct reports in line with the Performance Management System to assist in the realization of their potential and to enhance their knowledge-based skills.
Assist the HVAC Engineer in managing the project in a professional manner in order to achieve a sustained positive image.
Provide a hands on leadership style, responsible for creating a customer focused culture that is based on delivering results, transparency and trust, whilst building organizational capability and empowerment.
Analyze the training requirements of employees within the area managed, and arrange for relevant training to take place.
3. Operational
Develop, implement and communicate improved processes, policies and procedures on a continuous basis, always seeking greater efficiencies and higher customer satisfaction.
Maximize communication and synergy between the Engineers.
Organize and attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the development of consistent standards in quality working and behaviour.
Give assistance to MGMT for extra works BOQ and works follow up
To adhere to the IMS of Farnek and HSE requirements
4. Authority
Has full authority over the staffs reporting to him.
Authorised to approve Purchase requests raised by the team leaders or stores if it is related to their trade operations when the Engineer is away on Holiday or Vacation.
Authorised to take any decisions on maintenance activities performed on site during the absence of Engineer & if the same is in line with the company & site policies & Procedures.
Authorised to call & discuss his trade related issues with the shift engineers / in client for the smooth operations when the Engineer is away on Holiday/vacation.
Authorised to pre approve or reject any leave requests from his teams when the Engineer is on Holiday/Vacation.
Authorised to take any decisions in consultation with Engineer on executing the Preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance, Reactive maintenance to achieve the set targets and contractual KPI\'s.
Authorised to control, monitor & liaise with any specialist subcontractors engaged by FARNEK towards the contractual service delivery corresponding to their trade operations.
Skills
Vast technical knowledge in HVAC distribution networks
Vast technical knowledge in HVAC regulation and controls
Experience with AHU, OHU, Heat Wheels, Fans, PAC, Split, Chillers, Chilled water networks, etc.
Good experience with starter panels for HVAC (star/delta, Soft starter, DOL, VFD)
Experience with BMS Systems
Good knowledge of all kind of control valves, sensors and programming
Hands on experience in these systems is an absolute must
Strong management skills
Problem solving and good trouble shooting capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential, Able to prepare technical reports
High level of customer orientation / understanding
Experience in using and following up operations with CAFM system
Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel is required for reporting
Knowledge of the local supplier market
Requirements
Engineering Degree - HVAC ENGINEERING or equal by experience
Other Requirements
3 - 5 years experience in a facilities management company
