About the job:

An opportunity has arisen for HVAC Engineer to join Cost Air AC LLC. You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Attending Major Breakdowns, Trouble Shootings of HVAC Systems (Chillers, cooling towers, Pumps, AHU, FAHU, FCU,VRF, Ducted Split & Deco Split)

Experienced in the design and substantiation of ventilation systems

Delivering HVAC designs at a Senior Level

Producing ventilation system design deliverables, i.e. Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFD's), Basis of Design (BoD), Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating / Cooling / Fan Sizing) Control Philosophy.

Implement & complete the work execution schedules for all projects.

Attend Site Meeting with the Clients.

Prepare the daily schedule and distribute the work tasks to the teams accordingly.

Update the clients with regards to the site progress.

Supervising the teams and providing all required technical details.

Explaining the site drawings to the site technicians.

Provide technical training to the site technicians on weekly basis.

Maintain tools and machines in good working condition and request where ever tools required.

Carrying out the new site inspections assigned by the site coordinator and submitting the report.

Reviewing and submitting the work completion reports after completing the project.

Checking clients' emails and taking the required action.

Preparing and submitting the bill of quantity to the material coordinator after receiving the confirmation to start the project.

Conducting supervisory activities on site and carrying out necessary correspondence to insure contract soundness and adherence to relevant special and general conditions of contracts.

Coordinate the work of subcontractors on site in line with PPM schedule, including checking site specific risk assessments and method statements.

Prepares & submits routine and special reports such as maintenance schedules, progress reports on allocated work orders, operational & incident reports, accident reports, technical reports, volume of activity etc.

Manage and supervise the daily activities of team. Ensure optimal use of manpower and resources.

Preparation and submission of quotations and estimates. Liaise with technicians to ensure accuracy of quotations and estimates.

Flexibility to work to shift patterns as and when required. Flexible availability for 24/7 standby duties and emergency call outs.

Oversee and carry out the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of equipment.

Arrange for site inspection from time to time (Daily - weekly - Monthly) to monitor standard of work and completion schedule to ensure quality of workmanship is maintained on site.

Follow the contractual scope and ensure to deliver the required service on time.

Administration and clerical responsibilities as required by job.

To respond in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issues.

Qualification :

Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate engineering subject (Mechanical).

Proficient in performing Heat load, chilled water pipe sizing, ventilation calculations and equipment selection for buildings.

Provide HVAC Flow Diagrams, duct, piping and equipment Layouts and write specifications. Proficient with HVAC software.

Experience:

Minimum 2 Years experience as HVAC Site Engineer in UAE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
