Our client, a prestigious provider of real estate and facilities management services, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chiller HVAC Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for providing consultancy to clients and overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of chiller, HVAC, and diesel generator systems across the company's portfolio. Responsibilities As the Chiller HVAC Manager, your main responsibility is to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of HVAC, and diesel generator systems and to ensure that all chiller systems and related activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Your key accountabilities include: Leadership and People Management Responsibilities One of your primary responsibilities is to assess the activities and work performed by direct reports, sub-contractors, and service providers to ensure that they are carried out efficiently and effectively. You will need to align their work with the annual business plans and departmental policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for recommending training and development interventions to enhance the capabilities of your team members, sub-contractors, and service providers. Core Responsibilities Your core responsibilities as the Chiller HVAC Manager will include: Operational You will be responsible for being the subject matter expert of HVAC, chiller, and diesel generator systems across the portfolio. This includes overseeing the design, operation, maintenance, and repair of these systems to ensure their optimal performance. You will need to closely monitor the systems' performance, identify any issues or inefficiencies, and implement appropriate solutions to address them. Consultancy As a trusted expert in chiller and HVAC systems, you will provide consultancy services to clients. This may include conducting assessments, advising on system design and installation, and recommending energy-efficient solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients optimize their HVAC, and diesel generator systems and achieve their sustainability goals. Compliance and Safety Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards is a critical aspect of this role. You will need to stay updated on the latest regulations and standards related to HVAC, and diesel generator systems and ensure that all activities and systems are in full compliance. This includes conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify any potential safety hazards and taking appropriate measures to mitigate them.
