• : HVAC and MEP Engineer•

•Location:• United ARAB Emirates region

•Summary:•

We are seeking an experienced HVAC and MEP Engineer with expertise in Fire Fighting Layout, Fire Alarm Layout, Electrical Schedule, HVAC Drawing, Calculations, and Submission processes. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience working within Mall Management settings in the GCC region. This role requires strong technical skills in MEP systems design and a thorough understanding of local regulations and codes.

•Responsibilities:•

1. •Design and Planning:•

- Develop detailed HVAC drawings, including duct layouts, equipment schedules, and specifications.

- Create MEP designs incorporating fire fighting and fire alarm layouts, ensuring compliance with GCC regulations and standards.

- Prepare electrical schedules and specifications for MEP installations.

2. •Calculation and Analysis:•

- Conduct HVAC load calculations to determine system requirements and capacity.

- Perform energy efficiency analysis and recommend improvements for MEP systems.

- Ensure all designs and calculations meet safety, sustainability, and efficiency standards.

3. •Project Coordination:•

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into overall building designs.

- Manage the submission of HVAC, fire fighting, and fire alarm layouts to regulatory authorities for approval.

- Oversee the implementation of MEP systems during construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

4. •Technical Expertise:•

- Provide technical support and guidance on MEP systems to Mall Management teams and maintenance staff.

- Troubleshoot MEP system issues and recommend corrective actions as needed.

- Stay updated with advancements in MEP technology and regulations applicable to the GCC region.

5. •Compliance and Documentation:•

- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout all MEP design and installation phases.

- Maintain accurate documentation of all MEP design drawings, calculations, and submissions.

- Review and approve contractor submittals related to MEP systems.

•Qualifications:•

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HVAC and MEP Engineer in the GCC region, specifically with Mall Management exposure.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant MEP design software.

- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, fire alarm systems, and electrical systems.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

- Certification in relevant MEP and fire safety standards in the GCC region is preferred.
