We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers\xe2\x80\x99 port calls as efficient and safe as possible.This position reports to the Ships Agency Husbandry Centre Team Lead. The position works closely with Port Operations, the Commercial team, and Ships Agency Credit management functions.What you will be doing:Coordination with Account sales on matters related to the coordination and service performance of Husbandry port calls entering the area.Respond and follow up on customer enquiries.Ensure that all appointments are handled without delay and assigned correctly to responsible for service execution.Ensure advance funding (approved by customer) is remitted correctly to local agent\xe2\x80\x99s bank account at least 3 days before vessel arrival.Select and book suppliers and sub-agents using standard supplier management processes and systems and in compliance with Supplier Governance standard.Monitor and record expenses that arise during vessels\xe2\x80\x99 port call.For global port calls, monitor the execution of the port call and work closely with Operations / Sub Agents to ensure that we meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations.Ensure Cash-in-Transit (Cash to Master) as per the procedure.Suggest process improvements based on efficiency, productivity, or cost effectiveness gains.DA handling (Proforma & Revised), including correct data input, monitoring, and verification done as per KPIRegister and follow up complaints/non-compliances through Improvement Potential system.Attend business review meetings with customers as required and interact with the relevant KAMs.Who you are:Experience from the marine industry, preferably ships agency operationsAbility to work independently and systematically.Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.Ability and aptitude to learn is a must.Training can be provided to bring the candidate up to speed with the requisite knowledge to perform the job.What we offer:Working in Wilhelmsen can offer a culture and work environment of strong leadership, career development, work-life balance and a job that is both challenging and stimulating.Our organization thrives by using modern tools and is eager to utilize the business opportunities that arise with new digital tools and skills.
