We make UAE a safer place by providing secure electronic payment solutions, cyber security systems and communications as well as security systems for Dubai International Airport and air traffic management and navigation systems for Abu Dhabi\xe2\x80\x99s airport.JOB OBJECTIVE:To support HRBP UAE, Managers and Employees to deploy the strategy and achieving the performance within Thales framework (compliance, ethics, HR policies, Group purpose, local regulation etc.)ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • As an HR generalist, he/she is the primary HR contact for the people under his/her responsibility for all HR issues in Abu Dhabi site.
  • Attract, develop, engage and retain employees.
  • Support and manage the Emiratization objectives.
  • Support the initiative to make Abu Dhabi site a great place to work.
  • Support the HR strategies and drive associated action plans to support business performance and the ability to attract, develop, engage and retain employees in partnership with the leadership team.
  • Support the strategy to hire Emirati nationals & strengthen relationship with local universities & Industrial partners for long-term association.
  • Support identifying and building leadership and technical capability and growth of a talent pipeline aligned to future business strategy.
  • Support the business on transformation organizational projects.
  • Influence business decision-making to ensure HR issues and risks are considered at the earliest possible point.
  • Provide data-driven insights to the management team under his/her perimeter that support people related decision-making.
  • Collaborate with regional HR Shared services team members on the topics of Talent management, Learning, Compensation and Benefits & Talent Acquisition.
  • Ensure all cycles of HR processes are well executed and on a timely manner.
  • Advise employees on policies and processes, grievance management, develop a positive work environment at Thales Abu Dhabi site.
  • Promote a good Health, Safety, and Environmental culture among employees.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Generalist HR who has experience in human resources in the areas of staffing, performance management, change management, compensation and benefits, organization development, employee relations, training and knowledge of UAE labor law.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of progressive HR practices.
  • Successful track record of initiating People strategies to support business growth and change.
  • Strong capability in managing dynamic and matrix relations with different stakeholders.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Result orientation with high productivity; strong desire for success
  • Experience of working across projects, including knowledge of Project Life Cycle.
  • Working in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organization
QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferably a Master majoring in HR; between 5-10 years of experience in the HR domain with appropriate experience in the HR generalist function in good multi-national organizations.
  • Arabic & English speaker is preferable.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure both your own safety and the safety of others at all times.
  • Maintain an active role in achieving the objectives and adhering to the HSE Thales Policy
  • Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.
  • To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
  • Lead by example and actively encourage departments to look at ways to conserve water & energy, minimize the generation of waste, and encourage recycling.
