To oversee the HR Operations, employee life cycle, compliance with policies and procedures, cultivate strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders, demonstrate HR best practices and lead a team of HR Representatives.
HR Team Management/Coaching & Development
• Lead, coach, and mentor HR team ensure the sound management of the entire HR function.
• Create an environment that encourages employees to recognize their valuable contribution to success.
• Lead by example to model and embed the key values and behaviors.
• Implement paths to progression internally.
• Implement incentives to promote wellbeing and engagement.
HR Compliance and reporting
• Implement and oversee management reporting systems for of all employee data (SCR),
• Implement streamlined process/tracking management system across the group.
• Implement processes to ensure audit compliance and safeguarding protocol, for external professional service firms via central office, and the regulator.
• Conduct monthly mock audits internally to ensure the importance is embedded and the priority remains high.
• Liaise with Central Office HR to stay current and informed with newly introduced audit requirements.
Operational Human Resources & Strategy
• Implement streamlined and robust management information systems for all HR Metrics required.
• Oversee the onboarding process for all newly hired employees, including pre-employment communication and throughout their onboarding journey.
• Oversee the new starter inductions for all new staff.
• Partner with Recruitment Manager to ensure all recruitment activity is in line with the strategic goals.
• Partner with Head of Business Operations to ensure staffing and recruitment budgeting is accurately forecasted and managed.
• Ensure diversity and equality by upholding and promoting company policy to ensure non-discriminatory practices take place.
• Coordinate the probation, performance review and appraisal cycles to support leadership in achieving a high-performance culture, and advise leaders on correct adherence, timelines, and expectations.
• Guide, coach and advise Principals, SLT and non-academic line managers to develop skills and knowledge to take ownership of people management issues.
• Ensure adherence to company ER policies to promote fairness and consistency company wide.
• HR KPIs - collate and analyse people metrics based on HR KPI requirements and provide reports into central head office.
• Support Senior HR Manager and wider central head office HR team in rolling out projects, change management and organizational design.
Person Specification:
Education: Bachelor's Degree, recognized HR Qualification and/or professional accreditation preferred
Experience:
• At least 7 -10 years' experience within Human Resources (Generalist/Operations/Strategic),
• HR experience within a education management company or in a school setting is highly advantageous
• Proven track record in managing and influencing senior leadership.
• A thorough understanding of UAE Labour Law.
• Knowledge of the UAE educational regulatory authorities, including but not limited to, KHDA and ADEK.
• Knowledge of HRMS an advantage.
