Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department in administrative tasks, recruitment processes, and employee relations. This role requires familiarity with UAE labor laws and HR best practices to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support:
• Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with UAE labor laws.
• Prepare and manage HR documentation, including offer letters, contracts, and termination notices.
• Assist in maintaining employee attendance, leave records, and HR databases.
• Recruitment Support:
• Post job vacancies on relevant platforms and assist in shortlisting candidates.
• Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
• Assist in onboarding new employees, including document collection and visa processing.
• Employee Relations:
• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support the resolution of employee grievances in line with company policies and labor laws.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, including contract renewals and visa updates.
• Liaise with the PRO (Public Relations Officer) for visa applications and renewals.
• Handle medical insurance enrollments and cancellations.
• Payroll Support:
• Prepare and verify attendance records for payroll processing.
• Assist in handling employee salary queries and updates.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws and visa processes.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Experience:
• Prior experience in industries such as retail is a plus.
• Knowledge of HR software tools is advantageous.
