Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new employees.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing and resolving employee issues in a timely manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely benefits administration.
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving employee retention.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Generate reports and provide HR metrics to support decision-making processes.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution.
Oversee the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll.
Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely distribution of paychecks or direct deposits.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the department.
Desired Skill & Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
