Job Description

The HR & Admin Officer will support the organization's human resources and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and local business practices. The role includes managing employee life cycles, streamlining administrative operations, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resources Management

• Recruitment & Onboarding
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and completing visa processing for new hires.
• Oversee onboarding activities such as induction sessions and ensuring compliance with UAE labor and immigration requirements.
• Employee Documentation
• Maintain and update employee files, including Emirates IDs, labor contracts, visa renewals, and medical insurance.
• Ensure compliance with MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation) and Dubai government regulations.
• HR Policy Development
• Develop and implement HR policies in line with UAE labor law, including leave management, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Keep the employee handbook updated with relevant local labor law changes.
• Performance Management
• Support the performance review process, assisting managers with appraisals and employee development plans.
• Payroll & Benefits Administration
• Prepare payroll and coordinate payroll activities, including WPS (Wage Protection System) compliance.
• Manage employee benefits, including gratuity calculations, health insurance, and end-of-service benefits.

2. Administrative Management

• Office Management
• Oversee daily administrative operations, including procurement of office supplies and facilities management.
• Manage office leases and liaise with landlords or service providers as needed.
• Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure all administrative functions adhere to Dubai municipality and federal regulations.
• Prepare HR and administrative reports for management and external auditors.
• Visa and Licensing Management
• Handle employee visa processing, renewals, and cancellations through Dubai's GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs).
• Manage trade license renewals and liaise with relevant government bodies.
• Event and Logistics Coordination
• Organize company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Ensure meeting rooms and calendars are effectively managed.

3. Employee Relations

• Act as the main point of contact for employee queries related to HR and administrative issues.
• Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and employee well-being programs.

4. Additional Duties

• Stay updated on UAE labor law changes and ensure organizational compliance.
• Provide support during audits, both internal and external.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.



Qualifications and Experience

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience : 3+ years in HR and administration in the UAE.
• Knowledge :
• Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and government regulations.
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with WPS, GDRFA, and other UAE-specific systems.
• Language : Fluent in English, Hindi or Urdu (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
