Key Responsibilities:
Assist and support the HSSE Manager with development, implementation and maintenance of Health/ Safety /Security / Environment programs that are regulatory compliant
Provide an excellent cross-functional partnership service to plan, facilitate and enable the achievement of HSSE goals and priorities
Provides HSSE expertise and knowledge to facilitate business operations and assist in the development of Emergency plans, Safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
Identify key processes for assessment and recognize opportunities for continuous improvement by identifying and mitigating risks through co-operations with stakeholders; monitor the availability and quality of risk assessments and safe working procedures provided by contractors/vendors
Coach and support significant incident investigation activities across the business unit to ensure effective incident investigation processes are applied to understand immediate and underlying causes; prepare analytic reports of incidents to share learning and trends with the argumentation for change
Monitor investigation improvement actions delivery to prevent recurrences and disseminate learning
Support the business unit in development and implementation of training plans, competency and capability requirements for colleagues to enhance awareness, engagement and capability
Perform audits, inspections and assurance of HSSE framework
Coordinate the business continuity plan implementation and implement effective security plans (ISPS Code)
Who are we looking for:
3+ years of relevant experience; industry experience is a plus
An analytical person with strong attention to detail and integrity
Ability to communicate effectively and influence relevant stakeholders
Fluency in Arabic and English
MS Office working knowledge
University degree in Health & Safety or similar
