KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Perform site inspections on all matters related to HSE and Welfare.
• Intervene when non-conformities are observed, coach and advise persons.
• Perform welfare inspections at site rest areas, mess halls and accommodation facilities.
• Perform WMS compliance checks and audits and report results.
• Carry out the safety inspections of a wide variety of safety equipment.
• Carry out safety and fire drill demonstrations during training sessions, includes administering first aid, the use of all firefighting equipment etc.
• Maintain and prepare training equipment and ensure their readiness for the training sessions and drill demonstrations.
• Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.
• Perform gas tests in preparation for Hot Works and check all required controls are in place.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.
• Perform housekeeping inspections and report on findings.
• Perform Slips, Trips and Fall inspections and report on findings.
• Inspect and maintain all inventories of safety and fire-fighting equipment to ensure their operational serviceability and readiness during routine and emergencies situations.
• Prepare the provision of standby facilities for hot work, naked flame work vessel entry etc. and carry out critical duties such as fire watch and breathing apparatus standbys.
• Carry out plant HSE inspection to help minimizing potential accident.
• Assist in carrying out planned plant safety audits, housekeeping and PPE surveys.
• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE
• Nationalization.
• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and
• sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Technical Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of safety or fire-fighting experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry
• Good knowledge of Arabic and English
• Good communication and coordination Skills
• Valid UAE Driving License (desirable)
