Our client is a British multinational catering company based in the UAE. :
Establish, update & ensure implementation of EHS procedures & Safe work practices to ensure compliance & Food industry Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (policies & procedures)
Ensure compliance with the EHS regulations and the UAE Law.
Participate in issuing and preparing the HSE procedures according to the Safe System of Work concept to apply the Safety, Health, and Environment rules and firefighting means to protect premises and personnel.
Participate in coping with the HSE technical obstructions and make sure that all the employees, workers, and operators apply the HSE rules at all work times and places according to the instructions of the HSE manager and related HSE rules which could be (legitimate rules - technical requirements and organizational discipline according to company policy).
Participate in the comprehensive environmental protection system including Industrial wastewater treatment through follow-up and handling the Industrial wastewater treatment station, plus controlling the other industrial emissions and he committed to making these emissions comply with environmental legislatures and legitimate rules.
Participate in the implementation of disposal of hazard waste materials (solid / liquid)
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in occupational health and safety, science, or related field.
1:3 years of experience in the HSE field, in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing factory is a MUST.
Safety and Occupational Health Certification (NIOSH) is a Plus.
Understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards OSHA & IOSH
Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and practices
Familiarity with risk assessment and hazard analysis techniques
Understanding of emergency response procedures
Awareness of environmental health and safety issues
