We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our team. This position requires excellent analytical skills, an in-depth understanding of health and safety regulations, and a proactive approach to promoting a safe workplace.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies in compliance with local regulations and best practices.Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and advise on preventive measures.Ensure that safety audits are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments, and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.Liaise with external health and safety authorities and manage accident investigations accordingly.Deliver training programs to enhance employee safety awareness and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Maintain a registry of necessary documentation, reporting, and compliance records related to health, safety, and environmental issues.QualificationsBachelors degree in occupational health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.Proven experience as an HSE Specialist or similar role.Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Certification in safety management, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, is highly desirable.Why Work With Us?Why Join Us?
