Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, NEBOSH.

Minimum Experience

: 3 - 5 years post qualification experience in Piping & Steel Fabrication and Erection works, Heavy engineering/Ship building/Shutdown projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Helps in the Overall Coordination and Management of HSE department of the company.

To interface with the project management team and implement the project specific HSE plans and procedures.

To conduct internal project and process HSE audits.

To participate in external audits and assessments carried out by Customers/Regulatory bodies.

To maintain project specific HSE statistics and reports.

To participate in site and project HSE meetings.

To liaise with clients and customers on HSE matters.

To conduct, record and advise on routine and non- routine HSE inspections for his designated area of responsibility. These inspections consisting of but not limited to the following: - Safety Tours, Daily Walk about, Targeted inspections/ Audits, Equipment and machinery specific inspections, Health/ Hygiene and Environment inspections.

To ensure that all identified training/ certification for personnel is in place and valid.

To identify the training needs and conduct In-house trainings / External trainings and participate in Toolbox talks.

To organize HSE campaigns and ensure employees participation in all HSE matters.

To ensure all required Personal Protective Equipment is identified and is available.

To assist in the investigation and reporting of incidents occurring within his jurisdiction.

To assist in the day-to-day operations for HSE

To control permit to work systems.

To participate in site and project HSE meetings.

To participate in risk assessments.

To organize and participate in emergency mock drills and HSE incentive schemes.

To identify improvement opportunities in all aspects of operations in accordance with ALARP principles.

Other assignments as assigned by the HSE Manager.

To abide by the Technomak QHSE and HR Policies, Code of Conduct and all related QHSE procedures and rules as applicable to the post.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
